Good Beginning in the Media Center

We had a great couple of weeks in the Media Center!  I have met with each class and gone through orientation and book care.  The next couple of weeks, I will continue talking about proper book care with kindergarten.  The kindergarten students will get to check out books the next two weeks.  Some teachers want students to keep their books at school while others let them bring them home.  First and Second grade students will review Accelerated Reader and reading logs.  Remember the BOOK FAIR is September 13-September 17 in the cafeteria from 11-1 each day.

Book Fair is Coming September 13th - 17th

Just wanted to share details about the Book Fair next month.  The Book Fair will be located in the cafeteria and will open from 11:00-1:00 each day.  The students may bring money to lunch during this week.  Please label all money envelopes with Book Fair, name and amount.  The Book Fair will also be open during the PTA meeting on September 14th.

The first week of classes in the Media Center has been great!  I will be meeting with the rest of our students this week.  I look forward to finishing orientation with all classes.
